If you’re ready to become the fittest, healthiest version of yourself, Resilient Human Performance can make it happen.
“Aaron has helped me in my professional softball career by increasing my speed, strength, mobility and stability. At age 27 I am the strongest and fastest I’ve ever been. His training is specific to my goals and my sport which is hard to find elsewhere. And I appreciate his willingness to continue learning and bettering himself in all areas as a trainer in up-to-date research, exercises and nutrition.”
“I love to run, especially on trails and over long distances. I contacted Resilient Human Performance after months and months of struggling through a reoccurring knee problem. I had it examined and x-rayed, and was told “nothing was wrong.” I went to physical therapy, which helped for about a month, when I re-injured my knee again. I was frustrated and hopeless I didn’t want any more temporary fixes. I wanted to get down to what was really going on and fix it. A friend told me about RHP’s philosophy and that he could help me over the phone, since I lived 4 hours away from his gym. From our first call I was immediately comfortable and impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. Even after our initial screening over Facetime, (where he told me everything that was wrong with my posture leading to my imbalances and pain) I was optimistic about getting back to running for the first time in months.
It was a long and slow journey, but Aaron was there working with me every step of the way. He wanted to make sure I not only recovered from my knee pain but that my overall body health and posture improved so I wouldn’t be in pain again. I remember one night I was especially discouraged because of pain in my knee and hip. I told him this and he called me right away and walked through some exercises with me which almost instantly put me back on the right track. It’s not easy to treat problems like these without being in the same room, but Aaron knows just what to look and listen for. After about 4 months of working with Aaron my knee drastically improved and I was back out on the trails. Recently, I participated in and won a very difficult 25k race. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt this wouldn’t have been remotely possible without all of my hard work with Aaron. It’s good to be back and feeling better than ever!”
“After hip surgery and a fractured femur, I struggled to walk properly. Seeking help from Resilient Human Performance, under Aaron’s guidance, I regained my mobility and life back. Grateful to my support system and the medical professionals who collaborated on my journey.
My husband has joined me in the strength training and has experienced the difference this training program has made. I can honestly say that if I wouldn’t have found this program at Resilient Human Performance, I wouldn’t be walking normal. I have my life back. Praise God! I sincerely would like to thank, Aaron Hague, Resilient Human Performance, Minh Nguyen, Rejuvenation Therapy Pain Clinic, Kristin Hamilton, Acupuncturist and Matthew Bailey, Chiropractic Physician. They all communicated with each other on my progress and medical and physical strength training needs.”
“In 2011, a neurologist told me I couldn’t lift weights. He said it would make my condition worse.
I inherited Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease, which causes progressive weakness and nerve degeneration below the elbow and knee.
At 28, I had quit my job as a writer because of debilitating tendinitis in my hands. I couldn’t walk even a few steps without shooting pain in my knee. I had stopped activities I love: cooking, gardening, walking. I felt helpless and hopeless.
I found Aaron in 2015, through a recommendation from my physical therapist. I was the weakest I had ever been. I couldn’t even lunge without support, and my upper body was incredibly weak from years of inactivity. I set one goal with Aaron: “I don’t want to hurt myself.” My neurologist’s warning echoed in my head.
After nearly four years of working with Aaron, I am the strongest I have ever been, and stronger than I ever imagined I could be. This is thanks to Aaron’s carefully designed workouts that meet me where I’m at, and to the PRI exercises he prescribes. (Do your correctives – they work!)
At 38, I have my life back. I cook, I garden, I walk my dog daily and I’m a working writer again. Don’t get me wrong — I still have pain, I still have physical limits. I’ll never run or do a complete functional squat. But I have regained control over my body and my life.”
“When I met Aaron Hague at Performance training at the Courthouse Athletic Club, I was a broken down 18 year old high school athlete. I was stiff and had knee and achilles problems. I can say without a doubt that Aaron fixed me and helped build the foundation for my athletic success at the highest collegiate level.
With his guidance and mentorship, my mindset for athletics changed. I thought the only way to achieve success in football was the ‘old school’ methods of focusing on strength and size. Aaron showed me that injury prevention along with functional movements would translate to the field and increase my performance, and he was right. While playing Division-1 football at Eastern Washington University, I was able to stay healthy and reach my full athletic potential. I never missed a game in 4 years and Aaron is the main reason why.
Aaron’s unique ability to identify weaknesses in the body and provide a plan to correct those weaknesses sets him apart. If you want to push the limits and become the best athlete you possibly can, Aaron is your guy.”
“My thought, several years ago when I was introduced to Resilient Human Performance, was “what can this program do for me”? After all, my knees hurt, but only when I walked. As a skeptic, I was challenged to believe that something as simple as proper exercise could cure my discomfort was worth my time. I challenged Aaron to show me.
Aaron created a program that made it possible to pursue and continue to enjoy my interests with enthusiasm instead of apprehension. Ibuprofen is no longer needed as a routine, even when hiking the hills. Many thanks for all of your help.”
“As a former South Salem Saxon and current pitcher for the University of Utah softball team, I highly recommend any aspiring athlete to train with Aaron Hague to reach peak performance in their sport. He will help keep you safe and injury-free while pushing you to be the best athlete you can be in a fun, positive setting.
I started training with Aaron at the beginning of my sophomore year of high school as a way to get stronger and quicker for softball. As a pitcher, I am vulnerable to becoming asymmetrical because of the repetitive right-side dominant motion, so we worked hard to make sure I was balanced and stable to prevent injury. I am fully convinced that my background with this style of training is why I can say to this day that I’ve never had an injury that kept me from playing. Being well balanced and conditioned helped me be physically able to play other sports in high school and pitch full games throughout the whole season without my body hating me for it. I can also say that I entered into college physically far more prepared than other freshmen who had just trained on their own. The correct running, jumping, and lifting mechanics he taught me continue to help me in my training and competition through college and my professional career.”
“When I came to RHP in 2019, I was broken physically, mentally, and emotionally. I had two stress fractures, I had been misdiagnosed by a doctor, and I had been mistreated by training staff, making my trust levels almost non-existent when I showed up. Aaron and Nathan demonstrated the utmost intelligence to me and quickly gained 100% of my trust that I never thought I would have for a trainer again.
Aaron and Nathan have found the weak areas of me and helped me to strengthen them. They have made my goals their goals. They have taken the time to care for the mental and emotional side of my sport. They have helped me in injury prevention. They have helped me to become elite. I have accomplished things like becoming a Division 1 All-American and competing in the U.S Olympic Trials that I only dreamed I could do, but RHP has helped me turn my dreams into my expectations.
Thank you, Aaron and Nathan, for all that you have done for me and all that you continue to do for me. Resilient will forever be one of my favorite places because I can spend time bettering myself in a safe and knowledgeable environment where I know I am not only taken care of as an athlete, but as a person.”
“I trained with Aaron during high school to enhance my athletic performance. The training program dramatically increased my power and speed, the results of which I saw on the field. It strengthened my power hitting and I became one of the fastest baserunners on my team, allowing me to achieve my dream of receiving a softball scholarship at Stanford University. Beyond that, I was more prepared for the transition to collegiate training due to my strong background in the movement patterns and lifts I worked on with Aaron. After seeing the type of training elite college and even Olympic athletes utilize, I can say that Aaron’s program is on par with the best in the country. I would highly recommend training with Aaron – his training is individualized, effective, and he will push you to achieve goals you didn’t think you were capable of reaching.”
“I started running at age 15 and it not only came easy to me but it was something I took to with heart and soul. After college, I especially found success in ultra-distance running and was able to compete for Team USA at the World Championships 7 times. But in my mid 40’s, I started having problems with my gait and issues with injury. On New Year’s Day of 2021, I turned back to my house crying after less than a quarter mile because my hamstring hurt, and my hip felt completely locked up. Conventional physical therapy helped some, but it didn’t get me back to the level of running that I desired. Desperate, I turned to Resilient Human Performance after it was recommended to me by another client. Admittedly, some of the theories and methods seemed a little strange when I started. But I kept an open mind and was diligent about doing my correctives and exercises consistently. After a few weeks, I was able to start running again, cautiously at first, but with increasing mileage as the weeks passed. With continued work at RHP and a gradual rebuilding of my run training, I competed at the Canal Corridor 100-mile Endurance Run. I not only finished in 2nd place, but I had no pain from my hip or my hamstring! I followed that up a couple months later with track American Age group records (45-49) for 50 miles, 100 km, 12 hrs. and 100 miles at the Desert Solstice Track Invitational. RHP was a crucial component in my recovery from injury. Aaron and his team were great to work with and they crafted a plan specific to my needs to get me back into top form.”
Joel Rumrill2023-04-25 If you have back problems, Go to RHP and meet with Aaron. At 58 Yrs Old, I needed help due to issues that had stacked up over the years. Aaron and his team have improved my physical condition significantly and I'm now deadlifting, hiking and doing things pain free for the first time in years. Tera Knox2023-04-04 I wish everyone could experience RHP. I appreciate the attention to detail that our trainers give me, and the constant oversight, encouragement, progressive workouts, and the education they impart as they explain to me how the body works. I am impressed with their knowledge of kinesiology/sports medicine/exercise physiology and nutrition. The trainers not only treat each member as a friend they are happy to see and catch up with each day, but they desire to help us reach goals and improve our health through very personalized correctives, workouts, and education on nutrition. Aaron is very good at communication via email, texts and in person. One of my favorite things at RHP is when one of the trainers pulls me from the floor to the training table or a mat to assist me with therapeutic massage, working on fascia or bound up muscles that need release. I look forward to seeing the other members and getting to know them a little more personally as we all encourage one another during the workouts. Sheri Baker2023-04-03 This is a fantastic gym!! Arna Meyer2023-03-29 💪 True strength and conditioning coaching!! 💪 Aaron, Nathan and Jesus are knowledge trainers who are not only skilled at unlocking athletic performance in people, they're pros at rehabilitation and working with you to build your body back after it breaks. I entered RHP in the worst shape in my life. A difficult pregnancy and delivery followed by years of neglect had left my body weak and in pain from daily activities. Slowly but surely, my time at RHP has helped me gain strength and potentially avoid reconstructive surgery 🤞 The gym is inclusive, supportive and has a great mix of people. There are athletes of all ages, shapes, sizes, genders, colors and abilities. It's such a supportive and empowering place to work around people who truly want you to be well. Whether you are looking to get into the best shape of your life, need help unlocking the next level in your athletic career, are in pain and need help knowing how to navigate exercise with injury or just looking for a place where you will have access to experts every time you're on the floor, RHP is for you. I highly recommend them! Wayne Patterson2023-03-26 I started with Aaron years before when I was suffering from nerve damage in my neck. Aaron structured a therapy/ strengthening plan and faithfully encouraged me to stay with it for the next several months. Months turned to years and now I enjoy a life that I couldn’t have imagined! I am stronger and more fit at 66 years than I was at 45! Thanks RHP💪 Brandon Byrne2023-03-12 I was a personal trainer now currently I’m a physical therapist. I travel down from Portland to see these guys because they provide the best training programs that not only build strength but also longevity. They’ve helped me avoid back surgery after I hurt myself and reeled me back in when I was overtraining. In addition to workout programs they also consider other important factors which contribute to overall health including sleep, stress and nutrition. It’s the way I wish all training and healthcare was set up. Jason J2023-03-09 Resilient staff are there to help you achieve your goals. They create programs for the individual that meet your needs.
